Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is May 14 and we at Su Casa – Ending Domestic Violence want to take a moment to acknowledge the strength and resilience of mothers who call Su Casa home.

For most of us, we take the day to celebrate and honor our mothers, who have done so much for us. But those who have come to our shelter have a different tale to tell. Until this year, Mother’s Day included intimidation, isolation, and violence. This could be the first time they are able to spend the day with their children in peace and tranquility.

We want to create new loving memories to replace the dark experience of the past.

This Mother’s Day, we are asking for your support to help these courageous mothers and their children. Your donation will go directly towards providing shelter, food, clothing, and other essential supportive services to families who have experienced domestic violence.

For many of our families, coming to our shelter is the first step in a long journey towards healing and independence. With your help, we can provide them with the resources and support they need to move forward and build a safe and stable future for themselves and their children.

Your gift of $50, $100, or even $250 can make a significant impact in the lives of these families. It can mean the difference between sleeping in a car or having a safe place to call home. It can mean the difference between going hungry or having a warm meal. It can mean the difference between feeling alone and scared or knowing that someone cares and wants to help.

Thank you for your continued support and for standing with us in the fight against domestic violence.
