Su Casa Receives Ralph M. Parsons Grant
Anna Conti, executive director of Su Casa – Ending Domestic Violence, announced that the organization was a recipient of a grant from the Ralph M. Parsons Foundation for $25,000.00.
“We are truly elated and humbled by the support that we have received from the Ralph Parsons Foundation. They stand true to everything they strive to achieve and help organizations like Su Casa to continue to help Angelenos who need our services. Together we are stronger and we have endless possibilities to change lives of survivors,” stated Conti.
The grant provided by the Ralph M. Parsons Foundation focuses on core support. This grant will give Su Casa flexibility in building capacity and ability to provide the highest level of services to victims of domestic violence through the Su Casa crisis hotline, the short term emergency shelter, or the transitional housing component.
According to the Ralph M. Parsons website, the majority of its grantmaking is for unrestricted general operating support because the foundation recognizes that organizations need flexibility in order to fulfill their missions and meet community needs. To strengthen the fabric of Los Angeles, the foundation invests in highly effective civic and cultural, education, health, and human services organizations. Our focus is on agencies providing direct services.
