Norwalk Supports Su Casa
Su Casa received two wonderful contributions of support from Norwalk during the past few weeks.
The City of Norwalk presented Su Casa with a $7,500 Community Development Block Grant. Su Casa will be able to continue to provide the Norwalk community with its outreach, educational, and crisis hotline services.
“We are so grateful for all the years of support that we have received from the City of Norwalk,” stated Su Casa Executive Director Anna Conti, “The funding continues to help bring more awareness in the community and help Norwalk residents who desperately seek these much-needed services. We are here to help and will do everything in our power to provide support to as many victims as we can.”
On Sunday, June 3, the Norwalk Community Coordinating Council made a $2,500 donation to Su Casa as one of three recipients awarded with a donation at the 82nd Annual Awards Luncheon. Su Casa was selected along with the City of Norwalk Food Pantry and Community Family Guidance Center to receive donations. The theme of the luncheon was Making a Difference and with the support of the Norwalk Community Coordinating Council, Su Casa continues to make a difference in Norwalk.
