Your Donation Will Make Sure Su Casa Will Always Be There For Those Who Are In Need
Su Casa provides all of it’s services at no charge to those in need of our services. We want to always be able to answer the 3:00am hotline phone call or provide new shoes to a child who had to urgently flee domestic abuse with his mother without warning.
Take the next step further and join the Shining Star Club and click the “Recurring Donation” box and you can make an easy monthly contribution.
If you would like to name Su Casa – Ending Domestic Violence in your legacy plans or would like to make a grant through your Donor Advised Fund, please contact Dean Lockwood, Director of Development & Community Outreach at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (760) 218-0018.
COVID-19 Update: Out of an abundance of caution, Su Casa cannot accept physical items donated to the shelter unless they are a direct need of the shelters. Please contact us to discuss these donations. In place of items, please consider an online donation or the donation of gift cards.
Gift cards help provide food and necessary items for our families. By allowing them to choose their own items, you are helping boost their self-esteem and take steps towards self-sufficiency. Some of the families have never experienced any fun family outings. Your gift can help them have that positive experience with their children.
Suggested gift cards (Target, Disney, Visa, Movies and Restaurant Gift Cards).
Most of the children that come to our shelters had to leave behind their treasured toys. To ease the transition into their new home, we give each child two new toys. We celebrate their birthdays and holidays and we take special care to make these happy times. In this day and age, many adolescents have their favorite consoles and video games. Please help us help them feel as comfortable as possible in our shelters and give them their favorite items back.
Suggested Toys (Building Blocks, Arts and Crafts, Action Figures, Dolls, Disney Toys, Video Game Consoles & Games).
For the women and mothers, their time in our shelters can be very difficult. Not only are they trying to move forward after the abuse, but they also need to prepare for court appearances, job interviews, etc. Your gifts can help restore some self-esteem to a woman who has been robbed of hers.
Suggested Products (Lotions, Hair Spray, Deodorants, Hair Coloring, and Facial Products).
We continuously strive to make our families feel comfortable and welcome in our shelter. To improve their environment we have started to remodel and upgrade our shelter. We need your help in completing this goal. Our shelter is currently in need of Home Décor, such as frames: black/white, Canvas: flowers, happy, calm paintings, artificial plants/flowers, accent pillows, tables, etc. Anything that you may not need anymore is welcomed to this project.
We do ask that you call ahead when considering a donation of larger items, such as furniture and appliances. Our needs change regularly and storing larger items can be difficult. We appreciate your consideration and your understanding.
On behalf of everyone at Su Casa, we thank you for your donation.
