Make This Holiday a Memorable One for Families Escaping Domestic Violence

Each year Su Casa – Ending Domestic Violence asks the community to  contribute to Su Casa’s Holiday donation program. This is a heart warming way that the community can show their holiday spirit by donating gift cards to the families who will be calling Su Casa home for the holidays.

Su Casa provides over 11,000 bed nights of shelter to families escaping domestic violence. We provide supportive services, such as counseling for adults and their children, legal assistance, access to medical appointments, tutoring, food, and clothing. 

Most families come to Su Casa in the middle of a crisis and usually with only the clothes on their backs. Its at this time of the year, that we ask the community to assist these families as they begin to rebuild their lives.  Gift Cards are requested this year due to safety concerns related to Covid-19. Gift Cards offer great flexibility for families to go to dinner for special occasions, buy a special gift for a loved one, or purchase new clothing for a new year at school.

We also offer the option of making an online donation or selecting an item from our Amazon Wish List.

1. Donate Cash – Follow the link to the right to make a direct cash contribution. Your donation will be to buy holiday gifts for our families.
2. Gift Cards – Su Casa can redeem gift cards for items to meet specific needs of our families for the holidays and throughout the year. Gift Cards from retailers such as Target and Walmart, grocery stores, and gas stations are very much welcomed. Cards can be mailed to our administrative office (address listed below). 
3. Amazon Wish List – take a look at our Amazon wish list. The items on the list represent needs of the shelters. Of course household items, perfumes, videos, and toys for boys and girls of all ages are appreciated. Please click the button to the right.
