Su Casa Adds New Board Members
Su Casa – Ending Domestic Violence is proud to announce the addition of the new members to its governing board of directors.
Dr Kash Nair is the CEO and Medical Director of Nair Urgent Care in Long Beach, California. He was raised and educated in Malaysia, Singapore, England and Canada before completing his medical residency in the US. His post graduate studies in medicine have led him to attend institutions such as McGill University and the Yale School of Medicine. As a physician in a bustling urgent care, he recognizes the need to create immersive and impactful environments that can provide care and connection to vulnerable individuals and populations. This has been a driving force for him to seek new ways to create change.
John Leonard leads Wells Fargo Capital Finance’s Technology Finance division. In this capacity, John leads all transaction screening, underwriting execution, and portfolio management activities for this lending platform that is geared towards software and technology companies.
Russell Simpkin is currently a Vice President in the Business Banking division at City National Bank. He has over 25 years of experience working for banks of all sizes, from small community banks to large international banks. His areas of expertise include commercial real estate lending, loans and lines of credit, SBA financing, and he has worked with both for-profit and non-profit organiza-tions helping them meet their financing objectives. Originally from the Boston area, Russ has been in Southern California since 1982 and holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Cal State University, Northridge, majoring in Finance and Real Estate. Active in the Long Beach area, Simpkin supports Habitat for Humanity, and has volunteered for the Long Beach and Los Angeles chapters of the Special Olympics.

Nair, Leonard, and Simpkin join the 10 current members of the board of directors that provide leadership for Su Casa, which provides domestic violence shelter and services to Long Beach and Southern California.
